YRDominion is a blog written by Virginia Young Republicans, and funded by the Young Republican Federation of Virginia.
Virginia's Young Republican community is diverse in terms of its membership and its beliefs-- we are, if anything, a living example of the Republican Party as a "big tent," as envisioned by Ronald Reagan. However, the core beliefs that we all share are that a strong defense is in America's best interests, that government should tax and spend less, and that families and individuals make better decisions than government does.
YRDominion aims to promote those values in the blogosphere, highlight what leading public figures, candidates and officials are doing to further that core philosophy in politics and government-- and to serve as the home base for YRs talking about YR stuff and debating issues that matter to those of us in our twenties and thirties on the center-right-to-conservative side of the political debate.
