Virginia Supporters to Hold VP Debate Watching Parties Thursday Evening

ARLINGTON, VA -- Supporters of John McCain and Sarah Palin's presidential campaign will hold debate watching parties today, October 2^nd, across Virginia.

The debate watching parties in Virginia coincide with similar events across the country, as John McCain and Sarah Palin's supporters are joining friends, family, neighbors and co-workers to watch Sarah Palin square off with Joe Biden at the first vice presidential debate in St. Louis, Missouri.

In Fredericksburg, Congressman Rob Wittman, Speaker of the House Bill Howell, former Virginia First Lady Susan Allen, Democrat for McCain Christy Swanson, and former U.S. Representative and DEA Administrator Asa Hutchinson will gather with the Stafford County Republican Committee at the Fredericksburg Expo Center to watch the debate. In Harrisonburg, 1984 Olympic Gold Medalist Mary Wayte Bradburne will be on hand to watch Sarah Palin with local supporters.
